ThePinkMateProject Travel: India - Jaipur, The Pink City (Part 2)

This is my second post for Jaipur.  One thing I love about India is their love for handicrafts, they are soooo good at it! We went around Jaipur and bought some of their handiwork  the details are just unbelievable.  My mistake is I should have bought more items! More scarves, notebooks, pants, kurtas, accessories and wood blocks!

Puppets for sale.  The little kid is singing for his customers :) Adorable!
Vibrant colors of different bracelets with interesting details!  My mistake I didn't buy any!
We really want to come here, this is the facade of Anokhi Museum of Hand Printing.
Different woodblock designs, I want to buy all of them!
Gorgeous Anokhi scarves, I bought a few of those
he showed us how it's done, he is an artist!
The "Curious George" in me will have to try hand woodblock printing (not easy!)
This is Jal-Mahal, built in the middle of Mansagar Lake
Indian leather shoes sold at the site where you can view the Jal-Mahal
The Market near City Palace (see that peacock print skirt? I should've bought that one! Arghh!)
This camel was being sold to my friend for 20,000 rupees only! Seriously? If only I can bring a camel home I would! I love them!
This is Jantar Mantar - This is an observatory built by Maharaja Jai-Singh II.  Check out the   large sun dial!
This little kiddo is so cute! And I love the color-blocking of this outfit!
I am an ARIAN, a pose under the zodiac sign is a must!

Next post will be our trip to AGRA!

I was wearing:
Pink Kaftan from Greehills
Forever 21 jeans
Payless ballet flats
H & M scarf

  6. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I loved this. Received a new jacket, it is soft and appears to be well made. Without knowing how it will wear, the jacket appears to be of good quality. I really like those mens leather jackets at cwmalls.com.
