QOP - Work with a Twist

Almost all my work clothes are mostly grey, black or blue, yes I know it's quite boring.  To look far from boring, I usually buy work clothes with a bit of twist.  Like for instance, my grey top from Zara, is a mullet top, not the conventional blouse you see anywhere.  Another item that I got recently are my black patent oxfords, as you see in the photo, there is a gold lining at the front and at the back.  Again, something with a twist!
To finish my look, I wore my Dragon Girl lip colour from NARS.  Now, is my work outfit still boring? Don't think so! :)

I was wearing:
mullet top: Zara
skirt/accessories: Forever21
patent black oxfords: Zara

By the way lovelies! I will be traveling to HongKong/Macau from Feb 29 - March 3! Anyone of you who might be there just give me a message here!
I'm excited to post my shopping experience and photos! Will blog about it soon!

QOP - First time I've worn this snakeskin print top from Zara and I love it!  It's so comfortable and yet keeps me warm in a cold room or weather. To give my outfit a bit of oomph, decided to wear my vibrant yellow oxfords and my favorite NARS pink lipstick, Schiap.

I was wearing:

MEGA's 20th Year and its 10th Young Designers Competition

I was invited to the celebration of MEGA Magazine's 20th anniversary. Together with their anniversary was MEGA's Young Designers Competition 2012 finale, held last February 16, 2011 at NBC Tent, The Fort, Taguig.

The MEGA Young Designers Competition was founder by Sari Yap (MEGA's EIC) in 1994.  The objective was to to create and discover new talents.  This year, YDC is presenting 6 talented finalists who will make a name in Philippine fashion.

It was a well-attended event, with sparkling wine provided by Voga Italia and hors d'oeuvres by Cibo di M were over-flowing.  The event was hosted by the very pretty, supermodel Sara Meier-Albano.
There's only one winner which was decided by a panel of judges composed of: Sari Yap (MEGA's EIC), Raya Mananquil (model), Avel Bacudio (designer), Suki Salvador (Exec Creative Director) and Meryll Yan (Publisher/Deputy Editor).

The 6 finalists presented their collection and to the delight of the guests, 2 YDC alumni, last year's winner Russel Villafuerte and one of my favorite designers, Veejay Floresca presented their own runway collection.

All the 6 finalists are talented but of course there is only one winner.  Congratulations to Renan Pacson, champion of the 2012 Young Designers Competition!

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone!!!

I celebrated Vday with my good friends, had my favorite sparkling wine in Barcino, Amabile Bianco (2 bottles! Hahaha) and a simple pasta to go with it.

Of course I didn't wear red, but I wore something vibrant to match the atmosphere.  Wore my aqua cashmere jumper and mustard skirt.  I also wore the pearl necklace I recently bought at Accessorize! with a horseshoe pendant (for luck!).

We ended the night with a bit of buzz for a good night's sleep.

How did you spend your Valentine's pinkmates?

BORACAY! - 3 Days of Sea Paradise!

One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Philippines is BORACAY island. Boracay is located at the Southern part of the Philippines.  This island is known for its crystal clear waters and stretch of powdery white sands!  It never cease to amaze me how mesmerizing Boracay island is, that's why I try to go there every year for a real vacation.
