My Best Friend's Wedding

Hi Pinkmates! I am so sorry I have not been updating my blog.  It has been a whirlwind of too much work!  

Anyway, I have been posting here in my blog that we are preparing the wedding of my best friend Marga.  Her wedding took place last May 4, at Acua Verde in Laiya, Batangas.  
Oh it was just gorgeous! It was mostly DIYs between the bride and her friends (including me of course!).  The wedding is rustic with a color theme of Aqua and Coral... very tasteful!

I am just proud that I am part of this beautiful wedding and I want to share a few photos with you... Enjoy!

Preparation...

Ethan Allen: A Taste of Timeless Series

I got invited to Ethan Allen's event called A Taste of Timeless Series. There are 3 events for the year, 1st was about wine, 2nd on couture and 3rd about watches.  
Since I am a fan of fashion, of course I got invited in this particular event.  There was a special tie-up with Mr. Jun Escario, which I think is a genius designer!  He is one of the.. and sought after designer for the stars.  His gowns are just sophisticated and flatters a woman's figure.

The event was attended by Ethan Allen clients and members of the press.   Cocktails were prepared by Bizu, and such fabulous desserts of course!  

I enjoyed the rest of the night as I am with former colleagues, it's nice to see them again!

The Happy Mommy Event

Last Mother's Day, I had a pleasure working with ABS-CBN's Working Mom magazine and Lifestyle Network for their Mother's day celebration at Trinoma Ayala Mall.  It was the first time I got invited to style 4 real moms for their fashion show.  These work-at-home-moms are full time mothers who take care of their kids without any helper/nanny.  They work from home and they have their own businesses.  The concept of the fashion show was to showcase different options for moms, amidst their busy lives (running their households, businesses, taking care of the kids), they are still able to look beautiful and fashionable!

Pulled-out some clothes from Mommy Matters (fashionable nursing wear), Karimadon, Maldita and The Ramp to create different looks for the 4 moms.  Had a wonderful time with the Mommies! They are all beautiful inside and out (with a bit of craziness while we were at the backstage - they looove to sing!)

OOOH! Flowers Galore!

Spring season makes us think about perfect weather and flowers.   Although we do not have spring in the Philippines ( as we only have 2 seasons, either sunny or rainy season... I know, I know it's pretty boring!),  I honor the season through my events! 

I love these pretty bloomers we used during my event in the Miele Masters Series last week. Can't help being trigger happy capturing their beauty in all angles!
