ThePinkMateProject Travel: Taj Mahal

I want to dedicate my visit to Taj Mahal in a separate post.  It was one of the most unforgettable experiences I've had, the first time I saw Taj Mahal from the gate!  It was breathtaking!
As most of you know, the Taj Mahal was built out of pure love of Emperor Shah Jahan to his lovely wife Mumtaz Mahal.  When Mumtaz Mahal died, Shah Jahan fulfilled his promise that he will build the most beautiful and expensive monument for his true love's last resting place.
Indeed the Taj Mahal has been the most visited places in the world, tourists flock to this place to see the all- white marble monument.
Seeing the Taj Mahal surely took my breath away it was beyond words.

My photos do not do justice of how beautiful the monument is!

Our favorite tour guide, Sayeed!
Trail to the Taj Mahal - Love camels! They are just so regal!
Entrance gate
View from the gate

The majestic Taj Mahal!
I love this photo by the bench, reminds me of Princess Diana :)
Of course we need to have this photo! haha!
My favorite photo ever!!!
Shoes are not allowed inside the marble mausoleum, either you go in on foot or
wear shoe covers
Fooling around hehe

Last look to the Taj Mahal!

My trip to India opened my eyes on how amazing this country is, I get to appreciate it even more! I envy them for having such a rich culture.

If you guys have a budget for travel, I truly recommend you to visit this country!

Namaste!

ThePinkMateProject Travel: Agra, Inda

Hello hello pinkmates! I am terribly sorry for not posting and updating my blog!  I am sooo busy and it's so hard for me to find time to share what I have been upto!  I truly cannot believe that my last update was March 27! Waah!

Anyway, moving forward, I have noticed I haven't shared with you guys photos of my trip to Agra, India! This trip is one of my highlights for the year and I want to share my experience with you all captured in photos!  Enjoy!

Fatephur Sikri - built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, also called as "City of Victory"

I need to have a photo with this gorgeous wall!
It's getting pretty hot! Haha!

This is so true!

Agra Fort - This fortress is made of red sandstone.  This palace is where the love of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal flourished! Ironically, this is also where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son Aurangzeb.
Delhi Gate of Agra Fort
Gorgeous courtyard
Gorgeous marble latticework
One of my favorite photos of my boss!
Don't you just love the details?!

This concludes my post on 2 sites we visited in Agra.  I leave you with a photo of what my next post is:
